WHAT IS IT?
ECO-EFFICIENT

The “Kron2Solution” is developed to meet the highest environmental standards and collaborate so that the buildings which need it can obtain a good energy rating.

The rope, of polyurethane embedded steel, is much lighter and flexible than the traditional. At first glance it may seem a small difference, but this rope accepts much smaller bends, allowing the use of much smaller traction and diverting sheaves and, consequently, motors with smaller sizes, power and consumption. Moreover, it does not require neither lubrication nor compensating ropes.

The Kron2Solution motors, small and efficient, are a major energy saving compared to conventional machines and generate less waste: the engines do not have gears and bearings are sealed, so they do not need to be lubricated.

All these aspects make the improvement of the energy efficiency obtained with our solution very important, both in new construction elevators and existing ones, in which, thanks to our modernization kits, the benefit is greater due to their age and the poor efficiency of their technology.

The "Kron2Solution" also allows the incorporation of energy regeneration systems to make use of the kinetic energy of the motor when decelerating, which is normally lost as heat. These systems achieve significant energy recoveries.
