Our sockets, symmetric or asymmetric, are specially designed for coated ropes and have a buffering system that enables a better adjustment and a silent functioning.

The market sets the trend towards asymmetric wedge socket as it is faster to be installed and during inspections. The traditional one, on its hand, is guaranteed by all its life time.

Both enable a secure and efficient fastening of the embedded traction rope, complying with the EN81-1+A3 norm: according to paragraph 9.2.3, the union between the rope and the fixing of the rope must be able to resist at least the 80% of the minimum breaking load of the rope.
